Happy Friday! While I'm enjoying the Spring-like weather & sunshine, the rain in Saturday's forecast would be welcome if it knocks down this pollen. My allergies have been haywire for a couple of weeks now...

While the usual focus here is targeted toward individual and business safety & security, I don't want to forget promotion of public resources that are also useful. One Memphis public-safety resource more people should know about:

The City has a public map that lets you quickly see where police and fire stations are located across Memphis.

In the image here, the blue icons show fire stations and the red icons show police stations, so you can get a quick visual of what is closest to your home, work, or the parts of town you drive through most often.

This is one of those simple tools that’s genuinely useful. You may never need it in a major way, but it’s good to know which precinct or fire station is nearest to you before you ever need to look it up in a hurry.

If you open the link, you can use the map to look around your area and get a better feel for how coverage is laid out across the city. It’s a helpful bookmark for homeowners, business owners, parents, and really anyone who just wants to be a little more informed about the resources around them.
